john01473 Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 I just wanted to say thanks to all those who gave me advice on rear seatbelts, central locking, and manual for D1, changing rear shocks. Having not monkeyed with motors for some years I am back into spanners and oil and grease. My mate and I (he owns a 110) have been doing jobs on my d1. To date Changed rear shocks. Took out rear seat belts to see to rust on floor. Changed lock on back door - Changed central locking solenoid - Put it all back together and got the child lock working. Jobs to do are Finish rusty floor Change rusty sidesteps Wax oil underneath Sort out central locking on passenger door Replace passenger seat frame Fit new dash pod Thanks again. Nice one.
