frostybob59 Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Recently experience temp shooting up to hot..on checking appeared to have blown oil from somewhere and there was an enormous amount of oil in the expansion tank..also came out on high pressure.ead has been taken off and mechanic states cant get a vacuum from it.AM LOOKIng at buying a 2nd hand engine from a defender with 50000 ks mine has done 190000 engine is $5000 which is what it may cost me to do the head and oil cooler.iS the transplant straight forward and is it the right way to go?
