benbenukuk Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 Hi, I tried wiring up 4 wipac 100w spotlights using two relays but am having no luck as to them turning on, Is the relay number 85 supposed to be earthed? landmannnn Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 No. You need 12v across 85 and 86, in other words when you want the lights on you want 12v on 85 and 86 to earth. With nothing else connected to the relay make sure the relay now clicks when you hit the switch. Then the power - you need 12v to 30, then connect 87 to the lights.
