daveturnbull
In my hybrid, I have a manual gearbox from a 200 tdi disco, which is leaking oil. It is running down the back end of the gearbox, near where it mates to the transfer box, but it's not the seals on the output shaft - I changed them 3 months ago. It seems to be coming from much higher up, almost as if it is coming out of the gearstick 'hole'. I've not pulled the interior apart to examine closer yet, but is there a gasket around that area that may be the cause of the leak? An exploded parts diagram of the are would be most helpful if anyone has one? Thanks in advance.
cipx2
There is a gasket, part# FRC8505, number 27 in the 1st diagram (from EPC).
