mudmuncher
Hi all I have put a 200 tdi discovery engine in my series 3 and i am using the standard cylinder air filter housing. I need to buy a new air filter but when i went to order one (from paddocks) they said there are 2 difference ones for the cylinder housing and they are identified by the discovery chassis number. the problem is i brought the engine on a pallet so i have no idea what the chassis number would have been, so how can i work out which filter i need ?? Any ideas, anyone else had this problem ? Best regards Chris
cipx2
Remove the air filter element from the housing and compare it to the two versions bellow. Part # NTC1453 or part # ESR1049 The difference is in the seal at the bottom.
