SteveA Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Hi, we are in the process of fitting a 200tdi to a series Land Rover, onto a new chassis, which has had Defender style engine mounts fitted. We have come across a problem though, it seems that the mounts on the chassis may not be in the right place, as we cannot get both the engine and gearbox mounts down at the same time. So my question is, are the centres of the engine mounts the same distance from the front cross member or should they be offset from each other.
