towster Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Hello all, I'm new to the forum but I have a feeling that I will be spending quite a lot of time here... I have recently bought a 2000 dual fuel 4.0 HSE Auto and within a couple of weeks I have already become fairly intimate with the under bonnet area and I have added a few abbreviations to my vocabulary. (MAF, IACV etc) It is a cracking motor and the list of niggles is relatively short (Runs like a pig on petrol but like a dream on LPG, steering shakes on road bumps, maintenance symbol on air con [i reckon if you haven't one of those it's your LCD display that's buggered!], slight oil leak from sump gasket.) That means there are approximately 997696795779857976 components / systems working well at the moment. I see that there is plenty of good advice on this forum and I look forward to exchanging banter and technical hints (not too many, fingers crossed) in the future. Happy spanner monkeying!
