TURMOIL
early Y reg Freelander. Any bright ideas on how to get the bottom pulley off, the stud into the crank just won't budge! I can't use heat for obvious reasons, and so far have tried withou anty luck with a half inch airgun, the torque settings are 100mn + 60 degrees + 60 degrees with thred lock when it's put on, thats mega tight!!! should I use a bigger air gun and risk snapping it off? anyone else ever taken one out sucessfully, I'd be interested to know how you did it
Les Henson
You can use the starter motor to undo the crank bolt in the same way as you can with Defender and Disco's. Otherwise - lock the flywheel as shown in this thread - http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=9652 Les.
