dredger Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 Hello Afther a cople weeks loud wining my fuelpump on my defender td5 give up. I fitted a new one but she wines also but not as loud as the previus one but still to loud to be normal, its like the pump dont bild any pressure up. I look at the fuelpressure regulator (cos they gave a reputation for leaking ) but its cleandry, i have fitted a original landrover fuel filter and controlded for leaks but all seams fine. The engine starts and pulls like normal but while you drive the landy you constantly hear the pump wining. I have lookt on the engine oil for possibly diesel in the oil ( laeky injector whashers ) but this likes also fine. What could be the problem, anyone with the same expiriences ? Manny thanks Jan.
