landkeeper Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 right lads i have a 300 disco with a southdown rear tank guard steel replacement 1 piece rear bumper and a 6mm steel front winch bumper , qt diffguards /3 piece steering guard im being offered a 04 td5 disco by a friend how much of the offroad stuff will i be able to change over from the 300 disco any one have any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cipx2 Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 - the D2 chassis is longer in the back, so the tank guard is too short (I know that for sure) - AFAIK the mountings for both bumpers are different, so the bumpers can't be a straight swap - for the rest of the bits you have the websites telling that they sell different versions for D1 and D2. maybe someone else knows different or can tell what sort of fabrication might save some of the bits.
