Patch.Heffer Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 I want to upgrade the seats on my 1997 Disco 300TDi. I have seen a website that shows you how to modify and fit the seats from a RRC. Has anyone done this?? Did you have any problems?? I understand I will have to make up a base plate to fit the seats on to the disco seat supports, that seems straight forward enough but what about the seat belt harness?? Any help or opinions please! task Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 Got a URL for the website? The seatbelt mounts for the RRC seats are built into the seats themselves. My friends 95/96 Discovery has very different seat mountings to my 98 Disco. Mine being the same as my previous RRC and his being thinner. The rears should be a straight swap though.
