Been there, done that a few weeks ago smile.gif

Water gets in the wiper mechanism and it siezes-up. A new one is about £90, but they can be repaired as they rareley burn out. If the fuse is ok, and power is getting to it, then the spindle has siezed. Remove the arm, then the nut underneath it (you have to remove the spare wheel). Take the door card off, and you'll see the wiper mechanism. Disconnect the plug, then remove it (10mm socket I think). The cover is a steel plate - held on with 4 (?) screws. Remove them and the cover plate and you'll see the gearing. The problem is the shaft that the wiper arm is attached to - remove the small clip that holds the main gear in place and then press or tap the shaft out. Clean it up, grease, replace. Pack the internals with fresh grease to about 2/3, and put it back together.

Les.
