dsuk
Hi, I've got a 1994 300TDI that has developed a strange noise this morning. Whilst driving along I suddenly realised than when the engine is under load (e.g. going up hill and accelerating) there is a sucking noise. It sounds to be coming from the passenger side behind the glove box and the wierd thing is that when I reach my target speed and throttle back, the niose disappears completely. The sucking noise is quite loud and I can't see any hoses that are detacted or broken. The noise does not occur when the vehicle is stationary and I rev the engine. power seems to be a bit down compared to yesterday as well. Any suggestions of where to look? Thanks, Dave
russ1
Sounds like you might have a pin hole in a intake or boost hose, give them a good going over and see what you can find. Russ
