Marten
I know, I know, anti-roll bars are not to everybody's taste, but I have decided to dump the Australian flimsy and fit an "original" bar to my 1992 Disco 1 rear axle whilst it's off the vehicle. I have the excellent YRM brackets and the bracket design, plus the Haynes manual photo of the underside of a 300, makes the longitidinal position clear but no accurate information on where it goes radially. Can anyone give me a clue, such as the vertical distance from the horizontal weld seam at the back of the axle case to the centre of the tapered hole in the bracket? Cheers! Range Rover Blues
The factory brakets on the axle sit level with the centreline of the axle tube. If the drop link flips over then the cnetre of the rubber bush hits the spring seat.

monkeyb0y
And if the ball joint collapses, it shoots up and goes thru the brake line like it did on mine
