Peterla Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 I own a Disco 300tdi 1995. The speedo has been working but every now and then drops to zero then returns 10-30 minutes time. It has now completey stopped working. Can it test the spedo itself by shorting the cable like a reid swicth simulation. I am not near any LR dealers and want to get the right part the first time. If my spedo works with the shorting procedure I assume it is the tranducer that is causing the problem and I will get one freighted to me. Any test help would be greatly appreciated.
