Underwater67
This maybe just a coincidence, I was trying to fit a CD player into my 2001 Disco TD5 yesterday, the engine was running, and when i connected the ISO connector to the CD player The engine started to judder like running out of fuel!?? anyway removed the CD player, Now the Engine turns over , but just wont start, can hear the LP pump in the Tank working, but dont know why it wont start checked fuses they are all fine! The Car has just spent two weeks trouble free motoring in france not a hiccup! I would go to Land rover, but I know they will charge a fortune I also noticed a Large Number O on the odometer next to Trip miles ?? when i tried the purge thingy?? Im just ending up with Flat batteries now! Help Please!! All the best Callum
HighlandRover
Hi, did you ever solve the problem as I seem to be having the same issues! Cheers Jason
peat
Hi, have you tried resetting the inertia cutout switch? As you look at the engine bay, it's on the right hand side of the bulkhead. Mine had activated so I had similar symptoms, hope it helps...
