bobed90
Can someone tell me what the white and orange wiring on the ignition goes to? I have an intermitent ignition problem that im trying to sort out. Basically the engine keeps running but the power cuts off (as if ignition is turned off) When you try to restart after turning off it wont do anything, there are no lights on the dash. When you turn ignition to first position the battery light comes on. When the ignition is turned off and also with the key removed the glow plug light comes on. I know that the red/white wire is to the starter, the white wire is ignition live feed and brown wire is battery live. Anyone else experienced this problem? Any help much appreciated regards Jason
peterdon
I'd start by looking at the fusible links (if you have them) in the engine bay, they are prone to corrode under the cloth wrapping. The white/orange lead goes to the fuse box for things like radio, wash wipe etc.
