Simon119 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 Morning all Am in the process of replacing the cross member on my TD5 90 with a HD, no mud traps vesion. When taking the tank out, there are 8 bolts on the underside, 4 M8's that I now know were the ones holding the tank mount in place. And 4 M6's, now 2 of the M6's sheared as I was undoing them, not a problem at the time a the tank still came out, but now I am wondering what their purpose is? Do I need to drill the broken studs out and replace them or can the be left as they are??
