Chris4189 Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I went to crutchfield today and bought a Kenwood head unit with iPod/iPhone USB and they sold me an adapter that doesn't look right. The original head unit was a pioneer tape deck and the factory connectors are still intact. A 10 pin red connector, 8 pin brown and a 8 pin grey. I thought about hard wiring and sodering but I'm not sure what the oem color codes are. Rave says speaker wires are black/white etc and I have no black/white wires period at the connectors. Igol Posted September 12, 2014 Share Posted September 12, 2014 I looked at this a while ago when I was fitting my new DAB radio. After cutting and trying to get everything to match up with the wiring diag and the radios fittings I realised it was plug and play and all the connectors just slotted in so much reconnecting of plugs occured.
