Iceash
Hey all, My beloved freelander 1.8 has a random misfire at full throttle. But only with the pedal pushed fairly quickly to the floor. And only now n then day after Rain oddly. I had an engine management light on this morning reporting cam sensor, throttle position sensor an 1st oxygen sensor. I Also had the amber hdc light on the other day as well. This cleared 30 mins later. Also sometimes feel like it hesitates briefly. My suspicion has been the throttle position sensor, and when using a diagnostic computer I'd borrowed I'm getting 4.36v when the pedal is fully depressed. Would this be the correct reading? Anyone else think it's the tps? Thanks, Ash
Tanuki
Get your fault-codes read. It's pointless to go replacing parts at random 'on a hunch' when the computer's got a complete log of all the problems and errors and will surrender these for less than the cost of any stab-in-the-dark pats swap.
