soakes94 Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 I meant to post this a while ago but forgot... I recently serviced my defender and changed my lift pump. When I removed the lift pump there was almost a haze coming from the block. I had ran the engine for 10/15 minutes before this (went to get breakfast I think) and then I removed the oil filler cap and there was this haze again. I wouldnt describe it as steam though more of a haze. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas and if its damaging at all? I read it could be a faulty injector?
