6cyltdi
I can't quite work out what the regulations are with MOT exemption, I have a 1975 109" recovery truck with rear crane and front winch i intend to use it as a recovery truck and therefore it will be insured as a recovery truck on a trade policy. Does this make it MOT exempt as it is purpose built and doesn't really have any other purpose Will i be able to use it to tow my own vehicles with no MOT and generaly run around in it or what are the specific regulations.. VOSA VERA RTA DVLA are not very specific on this.....??? HELP.... Thanks all....

It was done away with some years ago about the time they stopped them from running on trade plates.
