  1. Hello Please also bare in mind creeping vapours ie petrol/gas they are drawn straight to the heat source ie open flame with possible lethal results. It dead easy to forget this, working on fuel system or just pouring stuff even spraying stuff Put a sheet of metal behind flue on the wall with a gap btween wall this way allows it to warm and the heat it absorbs to rise from the front and back of metal distributing heat better wish i could get in my garage lol
  2. My 84 110 has fuel pump on the right hand side of chassis near tank ive used easy start to check fuel problem turn over and spray to check firing assuming all sparking is in order

  5. I do use ratchet strap when changing wheel but thought a PROPER bit of kit out there lol but over £100 just for rears ouch and still use ratchet for front ! I just like the versatility of hilift and as long as your aware its waiting for an opportunity to kill your ok thanks for replies
  6. they are potentially lethal lol I always put a bolt in hole just incase used it to change my 110 springs just lifted chassis etc till springs popped then popped new in spread bars etc not wanting to sound like an advert but used it for really odd jobs but it is just waiting to kill or maim at its first opportunity I agree lol
  7. Arrhh maybe that what Ive seen lol may have to adapt something then Thanks
  8. a strap strop round axle then chassis so when Hi lift lifts chassis axle lifts to hi lift foot easier to pack on soft ground no grovelling around in mud at arms length laying down and H L has more uses my opinion of course lol maybe there not available and ive seen strops or ratchet strap used lol
  9. R&C ? Straps to go round alxe so I can change a wheel not lift a wheel
  10. Where are these available from in UK The straps that go around axle so it lifts not just chassis lifting when using Hi lift in jack points Or just use ratchet straps lol Hope that's clear thanks

  13. Got a set of these from a show £99.00 from them.easy to fit 2 screws 83 110 so the conectors dont fit just cut them off ! (they fit later models) not polarity conscious.(found this out by ringing them and the helpfull lady there conected a unit both ways and said "nope".They are waterproof and bright MUCH brighter and quicker to light(checked against front wing repeaters) So easy to fit ,waterproof, bright lets see howlong they last !
