Panhard Rod Bushes

Not sure if this is the correct place for this post but I thought I'd put it up for other newbies like me!

I had to replace the bushes in the Panhard Rod but haven't got a puller(?). Quick call to a mate down south and I was sorted. If this isn't the right way to do it, I'm more than happy to have the post corrected but it worked for me!

The old bushes were shot and took a cold chisel to get 'em out plus a lot of swearing! Cleaned the holes out best I could, even a light filing of the corroded surfaces.

Then with the rod fixed in the vice, I offered them up with a bit of lube and used a long bolt with a handful of large washers, began to wind it down. When it's almost through I had to use a large socket as the spacer/backing to get it all the way down. I've been told they should go in easier than my description but these 'fought' to the end!

Hope this is of use to anyone.

Rob
