ok so whilst theoretically possible its gonna be tough and doesn't make financial sense if the A6 stands in a 1000 gbp? moving the transmission across was an option and uprating the brakes was a given but it sounds like this is all going to be a bit of a clusterf**k. ho hum i will have to continue my search for a beastly v8 to put in to the pup. thanks all for your replies very much appreciated!

Hey guys, Long time lurker first time poster. I have recently been offered an A6 which has the above engine fitted at a good price and was wondering if transplanting it into my 90 was a possibility? Has it been done before?
