  5. Hi all, with all of the interest and people complaining about the regs, surely now the rules have been changed to accommodate people, you would think that there would be enough teams that have entered . Is there a list that is available to see of teams that have entered and paid up or do you wait until all of the forms have been sent in and then pick the teams you want and let them know?. Just a little query. thanks
  6. hi,ive checked all of the connections and fittings and all seemed ok , so now to remove the pump!.i have managed to cut an inspection hatch directly above the pump so now for the next question which is -how do i loosen the pump?. dont want to dissconnect anything just yet as i dont know how the pump comes out. thanks alot for all of your help
  7. hi, even although the pump is still pumping the fuel around the engine ,could it still be broke ?, as i have said before there still seems alot of air in the fuel and im wondering is there anything eles i should try before i buy new pump thanks for your reply,s
  8. hi,suddenly the begining of the week my td5 110 fuel pump became noisy but she ran ok andd started fine .this morning she started on 2nd turn of key and ran fine.came to start again started on 2nd turn of key run for about 300yrds then stopped and would not restart she normally starts 1st turn i should imagine this would mean a new fuel pump.i changed the fuel filter and bled the system the pump started noisy again she wouldnt start, i disconected the fuel pipe in the engine bay to make sure the diesel was still coming through the diesel seemed white with air bubbles so as anyone have any ideas for me im just thinking its the pump because of the noise and does anyone have any idea on how big of a job it is to do.cheers
  9. hi mate, gwyn lewis does the bracket to fit the 2nd alternater for the 300 tdi off the shelf being off gwyn it will be of good quality as well.hope this helps!
  10. Good evening all. I have a bit of a puzzler here. We had a new clutch fitted about 6 months ago, new pressure plate, new friction plate, thrust bearing and actuator arm. So far so good. We went and did a play day on sunday, and the truck drove fine there. On the way back, the clutch was slipping under load. I checked the bite point adjustment and bled the clutch system. No difference. Removed the drain plug, nothing. OK, bite the bullet time, split the gearbox from the engine and pulled the clutch pack out. No contamination, no real wear on the friction plate either, just some light scoring. What do I check for next????
