Morning all,
I have just purchased a tow bar ball and pin. Can anyone advise what bolts I should use to secure it to the back of my 90 with the NAS bumper step. Would M16 HT 8.8 bolts be suitable?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Excellent, thank you all for your wise words and advice. What does anyone think one the quality of the Flatdog products?
Thanks again,
Matt

Afternoon all,
Just a quick post to see if anyone has any views on the quality of the Flatdog steering guards. I'm not going to be doing any major off roading, maybe the odd track in Derbyshire a couple of times a year. The Flatdog guards are £150.00 and look very good when fitted. The other bit I'm not sure of other that the quality is that there are no recovery eyes built in, should I consider recovery eyes or not?
Thanks,
Matt

⬆️ Great shout thank you ?

Just been outside to wiggle the prop and the other bars. Nothing obvious seems to be loose or moving around. I'll keep hunting for the noise though. Thanks for the help ?
-
Excellent thank you and yes it will be going back once I can track the noise down a bit further. The knocking under the cubby box sounds like a something that's loose. As for when I'm going over speedbumps it's as I come off the bump and accelerate slightly that the vehicle feels/sounds like it's comming out of gear. No mods on the vehicle, it's as it came from the factory. I'll be clocking up the miles tomorrow to hone in on the problem. Thanks for the advice ?

Good evening all.
On my way home from work today I've noticed a rattle/knocking noise from under the cubby box area on my 90. At first I thought that it could be something in the cubby box so I took the few bits I had in there out and the noise continued. Also after driving over several speed bumps I noticed that on some of the bumps when the front of the vehicle compressed down on the suspension there was a grinding noise from the front and the vehicle felt for a second that it wasn't in gear properly.
Any ideas on what this could be would be great,
Cheers, Matt

Hello and good afternoon all.
I am looking to buy some shackles and a recovery rope/web and have a couple of questions. First question, I presume that for safety reasons the web/rope should have a lower breaking strain than the shackle? Second question can anyone recommend places to buy good equipment?
Cheers, Matt

Good afternoon everyone. This is my topic first post on here so sorry if I get it a little wrong.
Tomorrow (01/03/2015) I collect my new Defender 90 xs and have been wondering about the different fuels around e.g. Tesco, esso, bp, shell etc. my question is, does anyone rate a particular fuel over another for keeping the engine clean and having good performance?
Many thanks,
Matt

The product code is - 515-ABBDEF or LR005236
Hope this helps,
Matt

Good evening all,
I'm in search of the soft A bar with the wording 'defender' embossed on the front of it. Does anyone know of a company that sells them or a place that I can get hold of one for cheaper than the £550 that LR want?
Thanks in advance for your time,
Matt
