hi need a bit of advice
took the 90 for a paddle yesterday and got it a bit damp.
the ms worked very well with only a few probs. i think ive cooked the lambda sensor.
if i disconnect the sensor and blank it off do i need to link it out.
also when it came out of hole it nearly died but it soon picked up
is this the engine temp dropping causing it to try and die.
the 90 is offroad only now.
i also got some water in the petrol tank ive got a race tank from my old truck
which i will use inside but i need a high pressure external pump what do you recommend
many thanks terry

a big thank you to mr fridge, hfh and this forum
Its taken me 2years from ordering the megasquirt from fridge freezer and a load of bits from nige.
I finally got it started today,
After a long story.
Turned the key nothing. Remembering it had an immobiliser fitted still nothing, then the inertia switch nothing,
then finding no earth for the pump sorted, still nothing then a loud bang from the exhaust promising.
Checked the leads swapped AB and CD and it fired up.
I’m well happy
Then the oil started to leak out of the sandwich plate and water out from the heater pipes.
Will sort them out next week.
Again a big thank you terry

had the same thing happen to me last month after i put some injector cleaner in the tank.
was running on 6-7 pulled off injector plugs made no difference. pulled off plug leads same.
stripped fuel rail tested injectors ect still no better.
put a new set of plugs in runs fine.
was told i had contaminated the plugs and advised to fill up with shell optimax every 3 or 4 fills
been as good as gold since
Twin alternator bracket v8 v belt

my alternator bracket was a small triangle off the pump and a larger plate mounted to the head and the third fixing was a slider mounted at the bottom of the engine. the alternator is a LRA495 it needs to have a small rectifier on the back as rooms tight. will try and get some better photos over the weekend
