happened to me 20 years ago just got my mates big block chevy running when the top hose split.
sprayed me on my arm and sholder soaked my boilersuit. would have been ok but i put my hand on my arm as i went outside when i got the suit off had a bright red arm with blisters where my hand had been.
we fixed the hose then got her running again.then the oil pressure line split spraying oil over the headers which caught fire, lucky i had my wet overalls handy.
good luck and use the cream

owned mine for 7 years, best fun ive had offroad even put it on its side and been down a hill on the front axle.
the winch will pull a house down
should have seen the face on the curry house delivery driver when he reversed out of a side road and did'nt hear my horn
ripped the rear of the car to bits dented my wheel step
its shame it had to go

ive got two twin speed volvo fans fitted in my 90
not had them in the water yet.
last year one of my kenlows sized up on the racer,
so i got a spal fan off ebay same size same style ect but a lot less pull
-
we use the new 1/2" snapon guns at work no trouble with m20 bolts and sized 3/4 whitworth
they can tighten well past 250nm and they last most of the shift on one charge approx 40+ bolts on and off
and they can get the wheel nuts off my transit without the big bar.
lots of money but worth it
-
supply brown L/L1 blue N/L2 green/yellow on the bolt
output 3 reds one on each U V W if the drill is going the wrong way swop 2 of the reds over
-
are the input and output terminals marked
whats the make and model

also the right size crimps for the cable.
when i do any wiring i solder all my joints and use non insulated crimps.
and use the correct crimper, and then solder them and sleeve with glue lined heatshrink.
i also use loom tape, split conduit and normal 20mm/25mm conduit with glands to protect
the cables.
nothing worse than a load of blue crimps used for all sizes of cable. faults just waiting to happen
-
use solder lugs without the hole and some Self Amalgamating Tape around the joint between the lug and the cable sheeve then glue lined heatshrink
-
have you tried "tri rated cable" or welding cable with tinned copper cores and heatshrink with glue

can anyone tell me what tenp sender i need to fit or what size resistors i need
to get the gauge right
many thanks terry

had the same with my 3.9 would'nt start, so i changed the plugs, leads, cap and rotor arm, fired up first time.
when i dropped the cap in the bin it broke into 5 bits when i looked it must of had a hairline crack in it

Unlikely you've killed the ECU.
Does the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition on ? (It should run for a few seconds as soon as you turn the ignition on to prime the system).
fuel pump is running and fuel is coming out of the return pipe
