Hi all, I am new to this site and having just brought a 2006 td4 freelander and spending most of my weekends tinkering and replacing bits I am after some help. Driving home today my gears went all tight gear shift all sloppy leaving me with no gear selection and only 3rd gear, managed to get home clutch wasn't very happy tho, got underneath it to find the gear selector rod had popped off its balls joint popped it make all gears back to normal is I thought I'd go online and order me some replacement ones, half hour of searching and nothing!!!?? Am thinking Landrover direct but if any one has any ideas possible fixes I'd love to hear from you. Thanks Mark

Hi I am hoping for some help and advise, I have recently brought a freelander 1 td4 and I love it however it has a strange noise like something vibrating,flapping and sounds like it is coming from the front passenger side I have spent the weekend laying underneath it and can't find anything, the noise stops when I go round a left hand bend. If any one has any ideas I'd love to hear from you.
