  1. Lol yeah I tired briefly but I wasn't tall enough.. stupid lift kit that I'm yet to ditch because I'm short!
  2. I've got loads of the larger plastic ones that are rounded on the corners laying around. I'll see if one of those works. Just not sure if it will be enough to push the top in and the bottom out.
  3. I just received some new doors for my 90. The lift up handle but with a window winder type. Now I've fitted one door and it fits alright, however it's not perfect. The gap around the door is correct and it hangs straight. But the bottom left corner goes inwards past the body line, and the top right sits proud of the windscreen line. Would placing an additional spacer behind the top hind push the top in and the bottom out? I haven't got the bottom door seal fitted which may push the bottom out a little. But obviously won't account for the top. My other thinking was the door just needs twisting a little with some force on the top.
  4. Hmm maybe I already have a 48 spline then as I have a type B wheel! That's interesting! I already have a puma wheel kicking about that came with my bulkhead. I plan to fit a removable wheel boss and get a boss lock. That's part of the reason I'm asking lol as I want to buy the stuff without having to go outside and get cold!
  5. You can still run things off the battery with an isolation switch. Just have to run direct connections to the battery. Or to the live part of the switch. As for my security, x defence flip up pedal lock, removable steering wheel, boss lock, ignition switch, main power switch, fuel line solenoid (200tdi engine so no fuel pump motor), alarm and immobilizer and lastly a tracker. All wings and doors fitted using a mix of torx and hex.
  6. I have an 85 90, with what I believe is a 36 spline steering rack. I'm inclined to swap it for a 48 spline shaft as I have one attached to my new bulkhead. Can they just be swapped over? Or is the other end also specifically splined on the uni joint end? Basically I bought a complete 2014 bulkhead of a wrecked puma, and as it has the steering column attached with ignition im wanting to keep it together. Had to deal with sheer bolts once already in my project!
