  1. Dont woory, its all fixed. A slightly under voltage battery was the problem. Enough to spin it in warmer weather but not when it started to freeze. Rangys runnning better than ever now though as it made me clean and gap the plugs, clean rotor arm and dissy!!!!!!!

  2. Your new battery, how many volts is in it as even brandnew batterys need charging before they get used. It will have to be at least 12.4 volts if not whack it on charge. Clean the contacts on your dissy and check your spark plugs and clean/regap as necessary.

  3. I paid £400 for my f plate SE, with 10 months mot, 100k and with lpg. However it didnt come with any wheels which wasnt a problem as had loads of them at the time! Oh and bobtailbogey i'm going to ask again whats the best price you'll do that mountaincycle for? :D

  4. Hi, i had the same problem on a iveco van. It turned out to be the diesel pump packing up. Had a new one fitted and it was fine after that oh and easy start bends youre conrods gradually so you start getting less than full piston stroke and hence less compression. Thats why some vehicles will take a full can before they start when they get bad.

  5. Hi, i've got a webber carb on my s3 lightweight but my broyher has a spare inlet manifold for a su carb (He's into racing old p4 rovers which nearly share the same engine minus two bearings). The question is which is better?

  6. i got a Sealey supermig, its 195amps so will weld 8-9mil mild steel and realy rate it. You should be looking for one that goes down to about 35amps and goes upto 135amps to be able to do chassis work any less than that and you wiont be getting good penetration. I know the people on the http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/index.php rate the clarke migs for diy use so if its up to the job why don't you just treat it to some new consumables as £600 won't get you much for a pro user one like cebora, murex and the like. But what ever you do DONT BUY a Sip!
