  1. I use a Lincoln air powered grease gun, and have recently purchased and used a Doost D600 lock on end from Gwynn Lewis. The new end makes getting onto the u/js very easy. It has a narrow nose and locks and unlocks easily and  It would be very good if you had a manual gun needing two hands. I joined the new end with a right angled connector which helps in confined spaces. It comes M10 x1 threaded with a bsp adaptor; the Licoln is of course NPT.

So, you're probably going to need to do some serious marriage remediation...good luck with it and your offer. To quote Rear Admiral Grace Hopper "It's Easier to Ask Forgiveness Than It Is To Get Permission"

  3. Question is does it run? There are the other usual td5 minor irritations like injector harness, injector seals, fuel pressure reg etc.  But if not, LS3 time? Its bound to need a chassis and bulkhead, but easy for a man of your calibre! I mean, its a '99 parked in a field for 2 years. Definitely a project

  4. My daughter has a Puma 90 that may be affected by this. There's a huge thread on Defender2.net about the axle problem. One point to emerge is that the cracking seems to be on the left only . Another is that the recall was only for 110 and 130( why?), but it happened to a forum member on a 90.

But yeah, JLR are weaselling out of replacing potentially unsafe faulty axle cases. Why am I not surprised?
