Hello, I've just found this forum after a year and a half of struggling with my 18J ex-singapore 110. I'm currently converting it to 12v and putting the standard vacuum pump back in to the right side of the engine driven off of the oil pump drive shaft. (I'm having troubles with the vacuum pump, it works fine until the engine gets up to tempurature and then in fails to produce vacuum at all(i believe lack of oil preasure once it thins out), so if anyone would have any ideas, I would be greatful). I have learned a lot about this vehicle and its oddities over my ownership and it has been generally really reliable until I started messing with it.
