Hello James, my winch set up has a spool valve set up with independant levers, one for the winch control and one for the auxillery hydraulic sockets mounted on the bumper. The set up came from a United Utilities vehicle. Is yours winching the moment PTO is engaged with no external control. Thanks, Bob

Hello everyone, first post tonight . As the title says really. I am fitting a H14 winch and all the pto bits etc etc, and I was wondering if I need to uprate the springs on the front. It only has standard suspension and and the wheels/tyres are the 235 85x16 variety that the electric board use. Will I need to beef up the front chassis section or will the normal fixing points be enough. The chassis is in solid state, oil leaks over the years have taken care of this. Many thanks, Bob
