do you need any special tools to undo the torx bolts or can you get a regular spanner or socket on them

thanks but isn't ird at front the knocking noise sounds like something is hitting to floorpan near rear seats

hi i seam to have aloud knocking noise coming from the rear of my 98 freelander it happens when turing shap corners and even turing at juctions i have noticed it has also stated happing when accerlating and slowing now any idears please quick responces would be helpful so i know if it going to cause more damage thanks
