am thinking of getting set up to sell the winch bracket design would any one be intresed in one please put a ditto on here just so i know if any one intrested so i have rough numbers cheers Graeme

i had to make my own custom mount as there is no one out there that does them,

feel free to ask questions and i shall answer them as quick as i can i know there are other freelanders out there with winches but not as hidden as this one thanks

its the 2L L diesel engine no air con with origanl bumper, and winchmax 9500 winch here is a few more picts

just wondering if anyone out there has a drawing for a sump guard to replace plastic one under engine would use plastic one but dont have it

will do but i just wat to check that i am going in the right direction (no pun intended) with the 3 front pins that they are the in and out connections i will admit im not a electrial guy and know if you get it wrong things go pop game over the motor is wired red and black at the back of solenoid if this helps

i have got a solenoid now just wondering how you know which is in and out for the winch supply i have the same one in picture as you look at it i have two black/neg wires on the left and two red/pos on the right and of the 3 pins at the front im guessing middle one neg and other 2 in and out but does any one know which way round please

no loading a miniture traction engine on and off of a trailer but it would be a great hand if i could have it wireless, thanks for info will be in touch if i still have problems

i have tryed attaching the battery straight to the wirless box and then the in and out leads to the winch but does not work

ok here are some pictures of the winch i have, the wireless remote, and wiring diragram i got, as you see there is no control box or soleniods only a wondering lead with 4 wires two to the battery pos/ neg and the same to the winch

i have a perment mag winch with to conecting points i am trying to make it wirless i have the wirles box and remote but it does not seam to work does any one know if i have to add anything or a wiring diragram that could help

wireing up winch on my 4x4 and am trying to find anderson plugs or a 4 way plugs and socket wheres best place to start looking

Diesel Fuel Leak at Front of TD4 Freelander

had a leak a little while ago it turned out to be the injector returns/ leak off hoses had perished try looking there -
will give them a go any one happen to know what size the torx bolts are on shafts at this moment cheers
