Hi all . not been on here for ages. anyway i have recently put new tyres on my disco and i was told they were slightly bigger than standard .Anyway didnt think anymore of it for a few days until i had a tight turn to make On full lock i juddered alot. Im assuming this is because the tyres are the knobbly type they are touching the radius arm think thats what its called (havent looked as been too wet and cold) the first question is do ineed 2 wheel spacers or all round! . second question do i need to cut anywhere! third question has anyone got any for sale many thanks paul

  6. Hi all hope everyone is ok. My problem is almost all the lights on the electric window panel are out on a 1996 nreg disco . How can i rectify this problem is it simple or not. or do i need a new panel. Many thanks paul ps do the switches in the rear have lights thanks again

  9. hi all i have recently been putting a new boot floor in . but after drilling the inspection cover off . i realised that i had 3 new holes in the tank they are only 5mm drill holes . would i be ok putting a pop rivet and alot of sealer in them or not suggestions plz . thanks

  13. Hi all plz plz plz help me. I have just bought a discovery 1996 and having a go at putting a new floor pan on it . but the rust has taken hold of the flanges that hold the floor at the rear . has anyone got any experiance in doing this and possibly a welder. Who would be kind enough to help me out i live in congleton cheshire many thanks paul PS I WILL PICK YOU UP AS WELL SO YOU DONT HAVE TO USE YA DIESEL
  14. We as 4x4 drivers should put together a petition . And possibly pay 10 quid a year to go green laning aswell as the ramblers and runners and then maybe they will open more lanes the money should be put back into the lanes . I havent been greenlaning yet as only just got my disco but really want to go

  17. Hi all me dads just bought a disco 1 1996 in met red . He got it off a lad we both used to work with and he has spent a small fortune on keeping it in good order. Anyway i want to take it on some easy green laning is there anyone from near congleton who would be up for showing me the ropes many thanks and a brill site by the way thanks again pau PS is there anyone from congleton or surrounding areas thanks again
