I do tow with it and it has never been of road , I had a freelander 1 before and that never had any problems at all with towing, a friend whos son works at jaguar says that they have had problems with the clutch on the 2.2 ford engine.
the work was all done under warranty so all is now well.
landrover came up trumps it turned out to be the clutch, had a new flywheel new clutch and crankshaft oil seal, all now seems to be fine a little worrying though when its only done 19,500 miles
hi all got a freelander 2 gs all has been well until about 6 months ago when i noticed a bad vibration when accelerating this recently has happened but with the revs increasing but no increase in speed it only seems to happen when in 4 5 or 6 gear its been in to Landrover only for it not to happen when they had it but the next day it was of again so back i went and eventuaty got it to perform for them now they seem to think it is the clutch anybody else had a similar problem.
I enquired when I had my TD4 ES PREMIUM and was told that it was not possible to fit it to that vehicle a friend with a disco had his done and enquired about mine and as i say its not possible
Hi can anybody tell me if it is possible to change the wishbones on a 03 fl without taking the drive shaft out if you can looks like a straight forward job cheers
