  2. Is it posible to use standard intercooler pipes and adapt them to fit a 200tdi into a 1988 90? Ivw picked up a few old disco pipes at billing today and a guy was telling me to use the 200 tdi bottom intercooler pipe and the 300tdi top pipe and with adaption they should work does that sound right? they were only a couple of quid so I thought it might be worth a punt

  3. hi all, just had the master cylinder changed on saturday -which was fine until tuesday the clutch seized on the M1 at 7.00 in the morning middle lane in heavy traffic , took it back to the garage with the help of the rac and was told the clutch fork needed changing , when you change the master cylinder does that put pressure on the rest of the system?

  4. just want to pick your brains, the air box conversion that steve parker sells is a bit expensive at £230 , I was looking at one and it seems to be cobbled together from landrover parts. The air box has a part number esr 2102 and the large pipe that has smaller pipe merging into it is numbered spx 119 ..,what are they off ? where can i get them from? has anyone tried to do the air box conversion this way?

  5. Ive got a 1988 90 and I have put on a set of disco alloys , what size wheel spacers would I need so that I can fit the center plastic trims? It has the drum brakes on the rear, and when I got the alloy fitted by a trye company they didnt fit one of the rear wheels flat on the hub and I had people flashing me as the alloy was ovulating, someone told me that that disco wheels are quite a precise is that true as there is someone slling 4mm spacers on ebay and I know this wont allow me to fit the center caps but I thought it may stop that problem happening again, any thought would be appreciated, del

  6. Hi all got a bit of a leak on my 90, it seems to be coming from the the clutch pipe namely the solid pipe union were it joins into the flexable rubber (were its fixed to the bulkhead) ,is this a seal thats failed ,dont seem to be loosing loads of fluid from the resevoir but enough to leave a nice damp patch on the road.

  7. is it possible to remove the door card from the inside and see if a operating rod has dropped off, when I had my 90 reprayed a similar thing happened and I sort of jiggled the inside catch, pulled the knob up and down and pushed the outside button in and out until it eventaly opened! ,the spray shop blamed the old lock but I white greased the lock and rods up and it works fine now
