Thanks for all the offers.
I'm just checking the regulations for those 16 year olds that responded.
I'll be in contact with you all soon.
Thanks

I'm looking for a co-driver again as my previous co-driver is still not up for it after his illness.
I'm looking to do some or all the HOWLIN' WOLF CHALLENGE (if there is any spaces left), if not may be some other events this year.
I've got a reasonable challenge spec 90 which I competed in last years AWDC clubman series.
PM me or post a reply here if your interested or have any questions.

As the title says Co-drivers required.
My brother and I have both been let down for the Clubmans event at the Castle Inn near Corby on the 24/25th November.
So 2 co-drivers are required.
Send me a PM if you are interested or Post a reply here.
Thanks

Sorry no idea on the answers to your questions but would also be interested in the answers.
As I have wondered about replace the aging tunned 3.9L V8 in my defender with a TDV8 (I could never go for any of the other puny diesels)
Thanks

Any suggestions on how to secure a synthetic winch rope to a Superwinch X9.
Normally the rope passes through a channel in the drum and is secured by a grub screw.
The grub screw on my X9 is rusted solid and does not clamp the rope.
The rope does pass through the channel.
My thoughts on options are:-
Tie a knot in the rope so it cannot pull out of the channel.
Use a large U clamp around the rope (a bit bulky)
Ideas?
Note this fixing does not take much load (the first wrap of the rope secures the rope for winching)
Again co-driver required
