With SVA etc and people wanting to make more and more mods to vehicles Q plate log books will become the next black market commodity after tax exempt books. A Q plate log book that says somthing like "4x4 light utility made from parts", could apply to almost anything you fancied building, and plod would be unlikely to give a second look to a stange modified vehicle on a Q plate.
but dont Q plates have problems with insurance?

where you there mate
this event was well organised and EVERY section was marshled (by more than one marshel)
as far as i could see on all the sections we completed there where NO tracks out side of the taped areas .
appoligies if you were being sarcastic (smilies needed if so) but posts like yours are not really needed when so much hard work has been put in to these events , if your post refurs to another recent comp ''op north'' then no cheating was done there either , just the way the rules where interprited
Yes I was there, I was one of the marshals
the punches at the furthest end of the site, when we looked on saturday had all the posts and tapes driven over.
in past events some questions were asked as to why the tyre marks on a section went UNDER the tape, as driven that way you could do the section in a freelander on bald tyres.

No allegations of cheating this time?
ADRIAN FLUX 4X4 INSURANCE
in International Forum
Posted
I used to be with NFU, but they buggered me about so much, I left them, went to Adrian Flux, much cheaper, Yes I have claimed I ran into the rear of my other car.
they handled the claim well it was all sorted.
I have just had a renewal for her sportscar limited miles at £88
when I was insuring the bobtail for the first time they were one of two companies who knew what a bobtail was.
