Hello, I`ve got a 300tdi wich make this ticking sound when driving, the sound follows in the same speed as the engine and is very distinct. The engine in it selv runs perfectly, and have no leaks in the top, no overheating problems. I have been listening around in the engine bay with a stetoscope(like the doctors use) to try to find where the sound comes from, and I can not hear any particular ticking sound from the top of the engine, the only place I maybe hear a bit more sound from the injection pump area. Anyone got any ideas what `s be making this sound, and what I can do to get rid of it??? Or if it indicates a coming problem/fault???(sorry my bad english, I`m a viking from norway)
