Hi I recently bought my defender 90 v8i an found the alterternator doesn't work... I ordered a new replacement an the connections on the new one are a bolt-on type, different to the three spade plug on the old one. From what I understand the two bigger brown wires will go to the B+, and the other brown/yellow wire to the other smaller terminal. There is also a smaller terminal marked W, but I beleive this is for a rev counter (which I don't have) Any help would be great!
