drove the old girl for the MOT today run it hard and yes it has cleared , so it was just the standing for so long that was the problem. i have owned this landrover for 27years and this is the only time i haven't drove it!!, i broke the LT77 gearbox and i needed to repair the bulkhead plus over jobs so now a couple of little things to put right ie not all the light are working properly rear shock needs attention etc, then i have the MOT and back on the road!!! john

the old girl has been standing a long time but as winter is approaching , was getting her ready for MOT firred up tick over is good and high revs are good but in the middle range its missing and white smoking. this is a 300tdi with after market inercooler i added Forte fuel cleaner and it did improve but still there she hasant moved for over 15months i am going for a MOT tomorrow, a good run might do the trick?????? or any suggestions john

i am in the middle of a revamp of my landy , fitted new gearbox ,repaired bulkhead and foot wells, also fitted new timing belt and tensioner tried to start her but no joy ,i striped and rechecked the timing it all seems ok but i will not fire up??? anything i am missing?? there seems to be fuel there . john

i want to know the colour that was used many moons ago its a very pail green . i am not shore of the year it was used but any ideas please john
