  1. Just did this job. My lower ball joint nut twisted off and for the top one I used a grinder. This left me with two broken ball joints in the axle yoke to press out and two broken tapers in the knuckle to press out. A fairly tough couple of hours but doable so I wish you an easier time than me. My only problem now is the Lemforder ball joints didn't come with nuts...!!! I've got one to fit the top but can't find out what thread the bottom one has, always something.
  2. That's probably what caused the problem in the first place....; ) Anyway tried another AMR2106 from my Disco and after a minute or so that went the same way...!!! Must be a way to either programme or bypass these blooming things....any ideas..?
  3. Well, all the soldering looks good.........what next ?
  4. Thanks BogMonster, tried it but no go......I'm about to take the unit apart to look for bad connections/soldering. There must be another way..!!!!!
  5. The AMR 2106 on my 93 200TDi Disco has gone doolally. I was bashing off the clutch pedal (converting to auto) and it started flashing the the hazards. And it will not stop. Have disconnected it overnight but it still goes when reconnecting..!!! Does anyone know of a way to reset it...I've been trawling the internet but no joy yet......... Thanks in advance
  6. Definately part of the old seals..!!!! But seriously with a good master with new seals when operating the plunger by hand should not fluid be pumped out ?
  7. Okeydokey probably the silliest question of the night.....no pressure on the clutch, pumping the pedal shows no change in reservoir so took out the master, dismantled cleaned all the black gunk out and reassembled. Now testing the plunger by hand there is still no fluid being pumped out. I did clean the tiny wee hole with a wire so I know it was open before the reassembly but nothing.......Any help or humor much appreciated....!!!!
