Can anybody give me advice on how a hardtop fits on to a 90

hi there, you dont say if the engine is screaming its guts out or just turning over normally. this would give an indication of the transfer box gearing. Is the air filter in good condition if its clogged up the engine will not produce max power.

I've been into Landrovers for 30 years. First one was a 1953 80inch, current one 1984 90. I'm rebuilding the 90 slowly, I've managed to fit a 200tdi disco engine in it, trying to make it look better and run quieter at the moment.
I live in the fens, so finding mud is not generally a problem, hills are quite scarce round here.
