Hmmm. Yeah, that's how it sounds if those guys are right. Thanks for that. Now i'm tempted to go at it with a hacksaw while i've got it apart......!

Strange question - I've taken the heater box off my 1986 ex-MOD 110 to replace the motor and when re-fitting it noticed that the hole through the bulkhead for the hot air is about 2/3 the width of the replacement seal and the corresponding hole in the heater box. Although it has a flange around it, it looks as though the right-hand third has been blanked off. Does anyone know if this is normal for the year? Or able to shed any more light on it? Cheers Dan
