Planning an off-road trip North to South through Portugal early next year. Anyone know of any digital maps suitable for use with Memory Map or Oziexplorer, preferably small scale 1:100,000 or 1:50,000. Thanks Tog

I am also interested in this snorkel. Is the Mantech one a direct replacement because I thought it was fixed with two screws and one clip whereas the LR one looks as if it is fixed with 4 screws? I also heard that the Mantech one had problems covering the whole cut out in the panel and that some people had found that they had to use sealer to get it airtight. Any comments on these problems?

I have had two different types of rack from Pendle Bike racks over the years(see http://www.pendle-bike.co.uk). I currently have the Wheel Support 3 Bike Behind the Ball Mount, which allows me to open the back door without removing the carrier from the tow bar, although the bikes have to be removed. Previous to these I had tried various other makes but non were as robust or well made.

Duckworths do have them listed on their web site but when I went to order one they said they could not get hold of them any more!

I wonder if anyone has or knows where I can get hold of a genuine LR snorkel part number PHD500340 for a 2007 Puma defender. All the LR dealers I have contacted say these are no longer available as they have been replaced by one that looks like the new Mantec model, however I would prefer the PHD500340 as it looks more robust. If anyone knows of one available I would be grateful if you could provide contact details. Many thanks Tom

I want to fit some additional driving lights to my new Puma Td4 engined Defender and went along to my local garage to enquire about purchasing some lights and a mounting bar. However I was told by the garage that Landrover Specifiy that no lights should be mounted in front of the gront grill as they will impede the air flow to the cooling system! Is this just a general comment designed to deter customization or is there a specific requirement for a higher air flow for these new Puma engined vehicles. You see plenty of other older Defenders with lights mounted in front of the grill.

Interested in this myself but would prefer written instructions rather than drawings. Do all manufacturers use these type of drawings which I find unclear and confusing in places?

My 2007 Puma engined Defender is nearing the end of its warranty period and I am concerned that a problem I raised with the garage earlier this year has not been adequately addressed. The problem lies with the brakes which when applied at low speeds produce a "knocking" sound as though something is juddering or making contact with a moving part. THe garage cleaned the brakes saying they may have got clogged up during last winter but this has not resolved the problem and they say they can find no other fault. The problem doesn't appear to affect the breaking performance and is only noticeable at low speeds when the noise level in the cab is also low. However I am worried that the knocking may in the long term do some more permanent and potentially dangerous damage. Has anyone else experience of this phenomenon or can explain what may be happening. Thanks Tog

About to upgrade my 2007 Puma engined 110 and want to add a snorkel first but I am finding it difficult to decide which is the best snorkel to fit. Will definately go with a well known brand for peace of mind like Mantec or Safari. I want one that will cope with both water and dust in large quantities as I live in a very wet area but regularly travel to the Sahara. Also need to know if either can be easily modified to take a pre-filter/cleaner. Anyone got personal experience of both or other similar quality products which they could share?

I have recently moved the the Kendal Area and was wondering if anyone had any info on legal green laning routes. Have searched through all the maps but have found nothing that looks interesting. Also are there any clubs that cover the area. Thanks
