Hi, I Have a Discovery 300 Tdi ES the fuel gauge needle is showing empty and the low warning light is on.I have checked the plug on the sender unit and there is no power coming to the plug.I can't find the route of the wiring any ideas Mike Allenby mike disco

Hi I've got a discovery 300 tdi that has been off the road for some time i'm getting it ready for the MOT but seem to have brake pressure problems with the engine runing and my foot on the brake pedel it slowly goes down to the floor I dont have any fluid leaks some owners say this happens to them but as a 4x4 instructor I must have everything spot on any ideas or thoughts. Hi, has any body fitted the thermostat modification to the 1.8k engine and had any problems I've got a price from my nearest land rover dealer but no fitting instructions and my workshop manual only shows the standard unit. Did'nt seem to keen to forward pictures. Help would be great Mike allenby.

I,m having to change the engine in my wifes R plate 1.8 freelander and have found a 51 plate car with sound engine but this has two coil packs is it possible to to fit this engine as the one coming out has a distributor. Thanks Mike Allenby mike disco. PS thanks for the help re my discovery.
